Mrs. Ali is a proud graduate of Florida International University and Nova Southeastern University. She teaches World Literature and AP Literature. When Ms. Ali is not busy with her students, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

My name is Sarah Owens and this is my fifth year here at Paulding County High School. I teach U.S. History, World History, along with some Psychology classes. I enjoy engaging with my students and take passion in trying to make history both interesting and relevant to them. When I'm not at school I enjoy delving into historical fiction books and snuggling with my Beagle-mix pup, Millie.

Mrs. Bigham is a proud graduate of Kennesaw State University, Piedmont College, and Jacksonville State University. She is also a graduate of Paulding County High School, class of 1989. She has been a teacher in the Paulding County School District for over 25 years. She enjoys teaching at PCHS with her husband, Mr. Glenn Bigham. They enjoy living in downtown Dallas and traveling. They also enjoy spending time with their daughter and grandchildren.

Mr. Pedersen has been teaching science for the past 16 years. Before becoming a teacher, he worked as a molecular ecologist gaining invaluable research experiences across the United States. He enjoys camping and fishing with his wife and daughter.

Mr. Fink has taught AP social science classes for 13 of the 18 years he has been teaching, and is an AP College Board Certified Reader and Leader.  He supports student travel abroad through sponsoring summer cultural immersion trips. When not at school, he loves travelling with his family.

Mr. Stott graduated from Kennesaw State University in the Spring of 2006 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in mathematics, summa cum laude. He began teaching at Paulding County High School in the fall of 2006. He completed a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Kennesaw State University in 2009. When not teaching, Mr. Stott enjoys listening to and making music, reading, and spending time with friends and family. ​

Mrs. Nero is a proud graduate of The University of Georgia and Kennesaw State University.  The classroom is her second home, where she enjoys teaching AP English Language and Composition, American Literature, and Writer's Workshop.  She spends her free time acrylic pour painting and spending time with her husband and her abundance of dogs.

Brandi Hall has been a Licensed Practical Nurse for 19 years and a healthcare science teacher for nearly a decade.  Ms. hall absolutely adores the students that cross her path.  She feels blessed to be able to teach Academy students for all three healthcare pathway courses, as it is an honor to watch them grow from curious Freshmen to Mature Juniors.  In her spare time, she enjoys watching Atlanta sports teams, reading historical romance novels, and spending quality time with her family.

She enjoys the beach, camping, and riding horses in her spare time. She loves teaching and her students (former, current, and students that she has never taught)
